A spacious covered patio extension creates a seamless connection between the home and the outdoors, featuring soaring vaulted celings with rich toungue-and-groove wood, substantial timber beams, and striking natural stone columns. The custom stone fireplace serves as the heart of the space, creating a comfortable gathering place for relaxing evenings, entertaining family and friends, or simply enjoying the beauty of the Pacific Northwest in every season. Thoughtfully designed to complement the home’s existing architecture, this addition expands the home’s functional living space while creating a natural extension of the home for year-round Pacific Northwest living. From the timeless natural materials to the carefully crafted architectural details, every element was selected to create an outdoor room that is as beautiful as it is welcoming.
ABOUT THE REMODELER
For more than 50 years, we have been helping homeowners throughout the Salem-Keizer area create homes that are beautiful and functional. As one of the area’s early pioneers in the design-build approach, we continue to provide homeowners with the convenience of design, planning, and construction under one roof. Our owner, Jillian, began her career in interior design, custom furnishings, and kitchen and bath design before joining Golden Rule Remodeling in 2005, bringing a thoughtful design perspective to every project. While this tour home showcases an outdoor living space, our team is also recognized for creating thoughtfully designed kitchens, bathrooms, and whole home interiors that are tailored to the way each family lives. Supported by an experienced team of designers and craftsmen, we remain committed to creating exceptional spaces and lasting relationships, one home at a time.
