Membership Recruitment & RetentionSamantha Brown, Chair The membership committee is responsible for generating membership for the association. The committee will organize membership drives, develop recruitment strategies and work to increase the number of spikes within the association. Another important function of this group is the retention of members; seeing that each member's personal goals within the association are fulfilled. In addition, it will deal positively with factors that may cause a current member to leave the HBA. Meeting dates and times vary. Special EventsJeannette Moore, Chair The special events committee organizes social and other special events for the association. The committee will determine which events would be of interest to members, and then puts together the arrangements for the events.
